A great little easter egg in the video game has to do with the man himself, Walt Disney. Walt Disney Pictures released the film in , part of a revival of their main animated line after years where Pixar was their primary and most successful animated venture.

The film did so well, a sequel followed in , Ralph Breaks The Internet. Calhoun is the object of Felix's affection, which is something of a trick since she's from a different game entirely.
